Does anyone know if any of the female characters have nude (or topless) costumes past C7? To unlock C8-15, you have to do it on Normal and for C16+, you have to do it on Hard. I have a tough time just beating it on Easy. I'd like to know if it's worth trying to get the rest of the female characters' costumes. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There's something seriously messed up with this download and the other 'parts' possibly too and I'm not just talking about some of the contents.

I wasn't sure if this DOA II 'Xtras' was meant to be a multi-part download which you extract as one or three related downloads to be decompressed separately.

Little matter though because whichever way you try it if you use 7Zip on part 1 on its own or with parts 2 and 3 alongside it reports an error message about part II being missing. But it creates an ISO anyway.

However when I tried extracting with C Xbox Tools to see what was in it it behaved like a decompression bomb. It went way past 100% and after I'd aborted the extracted files were reporting as 23GB in size.

Never had that happen before and so deleted the whole thing. Some people have claimed that 7Zip can mess up decompressing RAR archives but that is not my experience. This is the first time I've had any problem with unRARing and I'm far more inclined to blame the original content being corrupted or the compression method.

Until somebody fixes whatever is wrong I'd avoid this.

Right, I re-downloaded this and the other two parts to try again and put all of them in one new temporary folder before extraction. 7Zip worked perfectly this time. The two reported problems 7Zip originally flagged didn't repeat, You should end up with one 3.86GB ISO.

C Xbox Tools v2.07 extracted the ISO contents without the decompression issue repeating too.

So I guess part 2 must have been corrupted during the my original download, only explanation that makes any sense, but still unusual.

It is marked as DOA II Xtra and the description promotes the 'adult' skin/costume patching and indeed that is all(?) there for those who get jollies from this sort of stuff. Say what you will about that the results are still technically impressive.

However it doesn't appear to have all the costumes you get with the large patch file found here.

I can confirm that even though marked as EU/PAL the game works perfectly on a US/NTSC console at 480p (can't test 720p). It is worth mentioning that the PAL and US/JP NTSC versions all use the same UDATA/TDATA ID but because you can you save under individual profiles it is possible to mix saves. That means you could install two different patched or a patched and unpatched versions of the game.

There is also the interesting possibility of exporting/editing the patched files between versions too.
