Ultima Underworld Unity Engine

Postby joewatiii » Thu May 17, 2018 5:47 pm

There have been numerous projects dedicated to rebuilding the Ultima Underworld engine for modern PCs but most have gone by the wayside before being finished. I stumbled upon this one the other day https://github.com/hankmorgan/Underworl ... r/releases, seems pretty legit. I have had no issues with it and seems to work really well. There are a few releases of Ultima Underworld here on TiZ http://theisozone.com/downloads/pc/dos- ... n-abyss-2/. If you have not played this game I would really recomend it. It's amazing to think this game came out before Wolfenstein 3D and actually has texture mapped walls and a true 3D engine. Great Game!
