Custom robo(n64) now in English, BUT.......

Postby FlarePhoenix » Fri Oct 20, 2017 7:46 pm

According to the readme it has issues with emulators ATM (crashes) so you might wait for update that fixes it.

Game(yes there is v2 but says use this one)

http://www.theisozone.com/downloads/oth ... om-robo-2/

Patch

http://www.romhacking.net/translations/3237/

If you don't know about this game....then you don't like fighting robots and that is sad.

One of my favorite game cube games. The story is INSANE for toys though.

I'll wait till the FULL FIX before I sink hours into it.

Thanks for the update!

It's been out for a month or so, not sure why he updated it today. I looked at the CRC and everything, and it's all still the same. I tested it a little and it was working fine. Of course no guarantees it won't crash halfway through the game.

Debugging bugs is hard tedious work, cause you have to fix it, play through again make sure nothing else breaks, and well, its long and tedious.

Thing is though, he didn't change anything. It's exactly the same size with the same CRC.

He didn't update it, I found this on a different site "romhacking.net". They usually only add to their collection after a period of time (aka processing). I rarely visit translators blogs or sites unless I know about it, and it is a game I really want to play.

Not really on topic, but is there an alternative to Romhacking.net? I've looked all over and all I can ever find are small sections with a handful of patches on platform specific sites.

Yes and no, while romhacking.net is largest collection for hacks, tools and translations (and updated often), there are a couple more but I digress, they aren't for beginners. Zophar while not updated, still has a few stuff you can get, and gbatemp is a forum with several things you can find, but had to find or links are dead\on horrible file storage sites(sometimes). Best bet to find what you need is search engine.

Yeah, I already know about Zophar's Domain and GBAtemp. I usually go to Zophar for tunes (there, and VGMRips), and GBAtemp is always the place I go to for the latest WiiBrew stuff, like emulators and their forks. Didn't know they had patches, though. Thanks for the help, my dude. :)
