Extremely experimental. No video or audio support. Limited game emulation success, not like you'd want to play a game without video or audio or...input at all

Code: Select all
int main(const char* args)
{

}

Look!! I made an XBOX one emulator!! It doesn’t have video, audio, or controller support but it is a start. It just needs some things to be placed between the { } braces before I can run full commercial games with 100% accuracy.

I just want to play Xenoblade 2 and don't want to buy a 400$ console just for it. :evil:
I hope it comes out one day and I will be legal because I will be owning the game. :D

As long as you download the game it won´t ever be legal.

Without them showing at least something running with messed up visuals I can´t take this serious.

Its still a loooooong way off, and if they do the same level of work as they have done with Citra, itll be years before anything useable comes out, its just the beginning stages but still, a very important step, if they keep it open source, people will work on it and it cold in a few years turn out to be great, but thats a long way off.

In fairness, I didn't think Cemu would be this far along, running brand new games perfectly, including Breath of the Wild. Hopefully Yuzu moves just as quickly.

I think we'll have a Switch emulator running commercial games sooner than some people think, just not in the next year or 2. How quick we get one really depends on the quality of the development team, and how much time they're willing to dedicate to the project. I was surprised at how quickly a viable Wii-U emulator rolled out. And the project had a lot of financial backers.

Of course it's still rudimentary, but it's a start! All in all I think massive progress has been made in the emulation scene in the past 2 years. RPCS3, Cemu, Xenia, Citra making massive progress, original Xbox emulation being worked on (Cxbx Reloaded and Xqemu). Now this and I've also read that a PS Vita emulator is being created.
