i dled it from here but its a dif and not cdi i cant get the game to read on my dc

im no expert but are .dif files not for use in mame and not the dreamcast.

are you sure you downloaded the right file?
what is the url from here of the file you downloaded?

im just guessing here but you searched marvel vs capcom in the search function which listed all marvel vs capcom games listed on tiz for all systems and you have accidentally downloaded a mame version as apposed to the dreamcast. i say this as i downloaded mvc2 from the link you pm'd me and there were 2 files Marvel.vs.Capcom.Clash.of.Super.Heroes.(U)-NBS.cdi and Marvel.vs.Capcom.Clash.of.Super.Heroes.(U)-NBS.nfo

download from the link you pm'd me and you should hopefully be good to go
