Hey guys i bought a used nintendo wii u but didnt get a sd card, so the question is can i use a micro sd adapter with a 8gb memory card inside the card adapter?

Ok i tried but dont know where to look to find if the wii u actually read the sd card

By the wording I do not think he means where is the slot but rather how to tell the system is actually reading it. :D

My understanding is the card must be formatted in fat32. This video may help you, found with a quick search, you can find a video for just about anything, probably better ones.

Ok thanks guys.. MaxRD is right i want to know if the wii u actually reading the sd card.. i'll give this a try & see if its showing up although it shows usb storage device..

Ok bad news its not showing up as usb storage device is greyed out meaning it not reading a usb storage

Did you format the card with fat32 file structure?

i dont ever remember it being accessible but hell i only use a 64gb card to install games on it so i dunno,.
