My own Playstation modchips!

After about 15 years I decided to take out my chip maker and make again my own ps1 modchips!
Has any of you guys done that?

i have a PS1 and i am thinking about modding it and getting a Controller that works and a some Memory Cards. this is the 3rd PS1 i have owned.

When i want to "make" modeed PS1 , i just go to flea market and purchase any PS1 for 1-2 $ , overhere they are nearly alwais modded !
Land of hacked consoles ! :lol:

I have made my own before as well. Used some kind of USB programmer. No clue what kind tho lol.

Yes, I have done this many times MM3 and OneChip lately. I've been making my own chips since 1998 for the PlayStation. I built this programmer (Images after the spoiler below) ages ago, but it can also be used for Gamecube Wii and PS1 among other things (Pachislo Mods).

I also make my own xbox chips and there is a post on here I made about that, though I have never used this programmer for that.

I used to use Windows 98 with programs that are not compatible with windows 7,8.10.I found it hard to find the 'perfect' program,cause I bought A LOT of 12C508A chips and today programs are not compatible with it.But I came up with program called K150 its really good and it looks like what I used to use.Thats all I have to say, so if you have any questions,ask me...

^ i'd use "microburn" for the k150, thats hardware not software.

I bought a PS1 that was modded by the owner using a Mayuki V4 chip and it does everything I want - boot burned copies, and defeats the mod-chip protection in the Japanese Dance Dance Revolution games.
