KERMIT HELP (HDD OSD)

Postby SD420x » Mon Jan 22, 2018 1:32 am

So i just used KERMIT on my ps2 for the first time and successfully installed the hdd osd boot files and info for GTA san andreas to load up from the hdd osd. So i tried to do another game but it says hddboot.kelf file not found so it won't be bootable from hdd osd. I didn't do anything special with my san Andreas so I'm wondering what I can do to make other games bootable as well. Technically I guess I'm asking how to add hddboot.kelf file (and where to get the file) to the correct hdl partition to make the game bootable when using Kermit

Not done ps2mods for a while..
Is hddboot.kelf on the installation cd?
You should try to copy to the hdd.
Usually the root.
Or the games folder.!

No need to use Kermit anymore.

Once you have HDDOSD (Browser 2.0) and games installed, just use HDLGameInstaller program and install OSD attributes. It's also possible to use Akuhack HDL Dump for the same task, but with HDLGI is easier because you can do all the process on the PS2 itself.
