I'm currently playing Bulletstorm, an Unreal Engine 3 game from 2011, and it seems they haven't touched the ragdoll physics code in the last 6 years.

Wow, the new physics look like crap, although admittedly Unreal 3 engine games also tended to do that on occasion. Still, it doesn't really surprise me to be honest. Launching Unreal Tournament 4 as a free early access type of game really screamed like a half arsed attempt since day one, so don't be surprised if they don't put that much effort into it. Pretty sad tho, considering Unreal Tournament was once the premiere multiplayer oriented FPS on the market.
