Sick

Sick

Caught a sore throat three days ago, but kept going to work without proper rest anyway,
last night it progressed into a nasty sinus infection that is currently radiating pain into my teeth, nose and ears, so suffice to say, I'm fucking miserable right now and chugging tea by the bucket.

Remember to take care of your bodies guys, sick sucks.

Yeah, tried to go to the doc earlier, but the place was packed, probably by people with the exact same bug, so I had to fall back on throat spray, dayquil, and tea for now.

Antibiotics is what you need. Those infections can lead to pretty serious issues.
I've had one bad tooth cause a abscess at the root which made my face swell. The infection hit my sinus then eyes. I ended up slightly delirious from the infection and only just made it to the doctors in time.
Had to have antibiotics by intravenous drip due to the speed the infection was working.

I never muck around now with any face infection. The longer you leave it, the more it spreads, then the longer it takes to recover.

If it's not better by tomorrow, I'm gonna check around and see if I can get an appointment and some antibiotics somewhere.

A couple years ago my dad actually had an untreated sinus infection that ballooned into a full-blown auto-immune disorder with his body trying to destroy his eyes, sinuses, and lungs, nasty shit, and he's still in really bad shape from it.

Take care of ANY infection that you think you may have PRONTO!! I got a very serious staff infection in my wrist and forearm possibly due to a small unnoticed cut that I got this past summer that put me in the hospital on IV antibiotics for almost a week AND THEN I had to treat myself at home with a pic line and IV antibiotic for an additional month! I was visited by a nurse every week for blood tests in my home as well. The initial pain in my arm and wrist was F$CKING INCREDIBLE!! The pain was SO BAD that even morphine and hydromorphone (much more powerful than morphine!) that they gave me did NOT help! I had to wait for the infection to go down before the pain subsided. This was about 3-4 days in severe pain. Even the slightest touch or movement on my arm was excruciatingly painful! Needless to say, I now make sure that I clean EVERY cut that I may get very thoroughly...at least the ones that I realize that I have. Also...it is a very good idea to take some probiotics when you have to take any antibiotics for an extended period of time, so as to replace the good bacteria in your digestive system that may be destroyed by the antibiotics. This is VERY important to do so do not neglect it.

Proper medical care is for people with an excess of funds. Had I such resources, I wouldn't spend my free time sitting at my desk in the dark, but instead would have had three broken teeth cut out, and perhaps eye, knee, and elbow surgery.
