New PC Upgrade

New PC Upgrade

Postby catch_2030 » Wed Jun 13, 2018 7:23 am

Finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade my system. Did I need to? Heck no but I decided now was the time for me. I will have some pics up much later. Have some more things planned for this like a custom water loop (the Fluid Gaming A360g to be exact) but I've been waiting for EK to release some additional fittings which should be out in about 2 weeks.

Old Build

New Build

I don't have any benchmarks really that compares the 2 but I can say that Minecraft all maxed out with shaders and textures plays a whole hell of a lot better :)

Feel free to post any recent upgrades you have done or your system build in general.

Nice, I'm still rocking an i-3 rig I built back in 2013, but I will have to upgrade it soon. It's been acting weird on me lately, and I get the feeling it won't last much longer.

Lol. I happened upon that graphics card at a Best Buy. At the time, it was $150 cheaper than every where else. Honestly only got it because it was a founders card. It’s the easiest card to have compatibility with the fluid gaming line from EK.
