Convert multiple bin games to single bin/cue?

Postby Smashey9 » Tue Jun 19, 2012 3:39 pm

So theres alot of games that I havnt uploaded here because its not standard bin/cue setup and would just confuse people.

For instance, heres Mad Stalker for PS1.

Code: Select all
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 01) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 02) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 03) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 04) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 05) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 06) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 07) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 08) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 09) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 10) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 11) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) (Track 12) [SLPS-00734].bin
Mad Stalker - Full Metal Force (Japan) [SLPS-00734].cue

Now I can burn the cue and play it fine on a console. Thats no problems.

Playing on an emulator, thats a different story. I dont emulate PS1. So its fine for me.

But if i were to upload this, I would get 100 pm's a day asking what to do with all these files.

Does anyone know of a way to convert this to a single bin/cue somehow?

Ive found one way that I think worked but havnt tried for awhile. And that was burning to a disc. Then putting the disc in my pc and making a bin/cue image.

But thats wasting 2 discs on each game, just so i can upload it here. And while I love you guys and all. I dont need 2 discs of each game....

Is there a way to do this with some kind of program that im not thinking of?

Ive tried mounting the cue with magiciso so i could try to make an image out of it. These multiple bin games wont mount.

Ive tried UltraIso, the method I use for PS2 games. Doesnt work. Opening the cue and trying to save as bin/cue just makes a bin/cue out of the cue file.

Ive also tried making a single bin out of all the bin files with ImgBurn , then using a cue maker to make a cue for it. Doesnt work.

It's a longshot, but perhaps ISO Buster would load the main Cue and enable you to save in a different format? (It will definatley allow you to extract the data, I know that much :) )

Have you tried to mount the cue to a virtual drive then use ImgBurn to make a new image?

Ya Curb. When i try to mount the cue with these multi bin games it fails to mount the image.

I use magic iso. Havnt tried Daemon Tools. Daemon messes up my computer so i dont have that program.

Ya, I can make a bin/cue after i burn these files.

But I want to do it without having to burn, then make an image, then burn again to test it before i upload.

2 CD-R for every upload= forget it lol

Would rather convert, burn, test, upload.

Just whack " USE IMGBURN AND BURN THE CUE" in your uploads description.

A few of the Tomb Raiders have a silly amount of .bins too.

if you look on this page, you may find a quality converter (embedded near the lower of the description page) but i'm not sure if it'll work for your goals??
good luck!!
