winRAR says there is no archive found how to fix this

whenever i download a dreamcast iso file and then go to extract it with winRAR it says no archive found. does anyone know what this means or how to fix it? it does it with every game i download. please help

I use 7-zip and never have any problems.

I'm a little confused. You are downloading zip/rar files from the site and then should be extracting the game image from them. Once you have the image are you trying to extract from that? I say "image" because in most cases they are not "iso" files. They are usually cdi files, and I don't think you can extract data from them with an archive program. Unless you are trying to alter a game in some way (remove music, etc) you just need to burn the cdi image.

if you get a Game.rar file and extract it and it works then the file is fine , however if the file never extracts then redownload the file.
