Released in the late 90s to early 2000s (Information is scarce on this little "gem"), Precision Skateboarding hopped on the then big trend of skateboarding by getting absolutely everything about the sport completely bass ackwards. Stiff controls, bad graphics and a complete lack of music make this not just one of the worst skateboarding games, but also one of the worst late 90s shovelware games, period. That may seem like a grand statement, but just wait until you try and play the damn thing.

The game's developer, Pantera Software, managed to get the game out into the world by way of a few third parties. In the US, many schoolchildren were duped out of their monthly allowance by having purchased this at their school's annual Scholastic book fair, which is itself mostly a money laundering scheme but that's neither here nor there...

If this game looks vaguely similar to any other crappy racing sports games you played in the late 90s, then Pantera may have been involved. Surprisingly, Pantera still exists to this day but they have seemingly left all of their earlier games for dead and now only sell what seems like a bogstandard Rollercoaster tycoon ripoff. Stick with what you know best, I guess... Which is assuming they even know how to make a game to begin with, but I highly doubt that, given what I've played thus far.

I had meant to upload this ages ago, but it kinda slipped my mind as I got distracted with other things. But finally, the world wide web can be exposed to this excuse of a skateboard racing game... I mean, there's no tricks at all in the dang thing. At the very least, they got the "precision" part of "precision skateboarding" right, because it takes tons of precision (and a pinch of good luck) to beat every level the damn thing has to offer.

You have been forewarned my friend, turn back now while you still can!

Apologies if this isn't the most professional rip you've ever seen, this was my first (and probably last, barring me finding any other really obscure shovelware in a bargain bin) time doing such a thing. I'm a big fan of this place, as it allows me to find all sorts of obscure games that I otherwise would have missed out on. Anyways, thanks so much everyone.

Yeah, I was almost gonna accidentally upload it to something besides FD, but while rushing through the forums to post 5 good comments, I noticed a thread of someone complaining about a ban on their upload and reading it I realized I actually needed to use FD. xD

thankfully it was very simple to set up.
