Burning SD Dreamcast ISO's???

Postby Koyuki » Mon Feb 12, 2018 1:29 pm

Hi.

I downloaded some SD Dreamcast ISOS to check their format and I noticed the sectors are MODE1/2048 sector.

These Can be burned to disc, right?

The games that usually dont boot are AUDIO/2352.

Anyone here tried to burn SD isos???

Thanks

Lol, why would you want to burn a SD iso? They are specifically modified to run off a SD card/storage media nothing else.

Because my Dreamcast doesnt read AUDIO tracks well, I mean, I can't burn , because it doesnt read copies, unless its MODE1/2048.

And I burned sucessfully over 100 games MODE1/2048, but very few AUDIO worked, and I wasted lots of discs doing it.

Hi Koyuki.
As stated if you want to burn Dreamcast games to CD-R that can run in your Dreamcast You want "Isos" NOT "SD Isos" http://www.theisozone.com/downloads/dreamcast/dreamcast-isos/

Usually these are actually CDI files.
If you are having issues with Audio my guess is you are not burning properly OR you might want to try a different brand of CD-Rs.

Here's a great tutorial on burning cdi using IMGBurn http://www.theisozone.com/tutorials/dreamcast/burning-and-backup/dreamcast-burning-cdi-2012-style/
