DC VGA Question

Postby Monsterbongzz » Mon Mar 05, 2018 12:51 pm

Hey I just bought a retro-bit vga cord for my DC but I need an adapter box to hookup to my tv because I only have HDMI. Anyone have suggestions on what a good one is? I am asking because I don't want to buy some cheap pos that doesn't work.

Thanks in advance!

Hello, I bought one 2 months ago. This one works perfect on my 4K TV. Perfect 720 P

PLus you'll need the 4 cables:1. from vga box to vga input ( already on your box / careful with male /female plug in).
2. for audio .( Same as your headphones ) plugged to your vga box and into your speakers/or ear/headphones
3. hdmi cable from output to tv
4and the type of plug you have on every phone at the moment ( same as the snes mini plug) for power. You can USB plug it to your pc or you need the adapter for the plug in your wall ( most phones have it).

YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO POWER IT UP . I first bought the cheapest ones ( yes, it can't get cheaper than this) with no power. It doesn't work.

You got the same kind on amazon or everywhere else.

Hope this will help

Thank you for the reply back. Have you had any issues with screen flicker or color distortion when using this adapter box?

None, As i said perfect vga picture. The most expensive isn't the box but all the cables that go along with it if you don't have any at home
