One man, an xbox cover and a dremel

Postby Tagomi » Mon Jun 25, 2018 6:43 pm

I need ideas, I have time, a dremel, and a spare xbox cover. Lets make a cool xbox cover. I tried salvaging an original xbox but unfortunately it was DOA. So I pulled its hdd, cdrom drive and kept the cover in case mine ever wore down. For a binned xbox the cover was in top shape. The mobo was melted probably from leaving it on 24/7 and in a covered area like running in a drawer on the tv center. I don't have money to sink into it and I'm not well off in the way of money so I'm on a broke mans budget however spray paint or repaint is very do-able. :geek:

Check out the customs thread in my sig, there is a 'jewel case mod' that looks good for XBox. Also give that phrase a google and you should get some good images and tutorials.

Also check out the pic below, you can cut pieces out and put clear perspex under and LEDs if wanted. Its not one of mine, just one i came across awhile back.

I like it. I see too many stickers on these, it's good to see a cut.
