Error 5

Postby salty87 » Mon Jul 16, 2018 2:06 am

Hello, I'm new here. Anyway, I done goofed. I accidentally unlocked my stock hard drive when attempting to upgrade to a larger hard drive. Long story short, both drives are now unlocked...since I did reboot. So what are my options? I do have a copy of my eeprom saved to my desktop.

If you can connect the drives to a PC, try using XboxHDM to lock them.

Next time you do an upgrade like that, only unlock your stock drive when your new drive is locked and working.

Yes. It is good that you backed up the EEPROM first. I have used XboxHDM to lock and unlock drives a few times, and even to rebuild a new or stock drive.
