I often wonder if pop music was actually better back then, or if it is just nostalgia kicking in. :geek:

well my fave actor is dead. christopher lee. he was in his early nineties when he died. my fave musicians from the eighties r iron maiden, metallica, and mercyful fate of the metal bands. duran duran was good, and who could say michael jackson.i'm sorry but he was a great innovator who has made postars millions and millions with his image. he is to pop what black sabbath and judas priest is 2 metal. he is the pop god.

90s alternative rock gives me such a nostalgic feeling.

Have you heard of TRONICBOX? He's the best 80's remixer on YouTube. He takes modern Pop songs and turns them into 80's JAMS. My favorite is "Into You" by Ariana Grande:

My brother from another mother. Damn shame that she died. She had an amazing voice, and brought emotion to all of her songs.

I'd probably recommend "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS; hell, even the Kick album.
Also, probably TISM if you're into that stuff.
Sometimes I like to listen to really obscure stuff, like Distance [80s band/supergroup] and Metropolis [80s duo who recorded "Darkest Side of the Night" for Friday the 13th: Jason Takes Manhattan in 1989].
